Privacy Policy

In one sentence: Weiban requires no account and ships with no ads or analytics SDKs. Every record lives on your own devices; when sync is on, data travels only through your own iCloud. We run no servers and can see none of your data.

1. Who we are

Weiban is a baby feeding tracker for iPhone and iPad ("the app"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. By using the app, you understand and agree to what is described here.

2. What we collect

We do not actively collect any personally identifiable information. The app:

requires no account and never asks for your name, email, phone number or contacts;
includes no third-party advertising, analytics or behavioral-tracking SDKs;
does not "track" you as defined by Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, and therefore never asks for tracking permission;
never requests precise location, camera, microphone or photo access.

3. Where your records live

Everything you create in the app — baby profiles and avatars, feeding, sleep, diaper, growth, health-care, stored-milk records and notes — is used solely to provide the app's features, is not linked to any identity held by the developer, and is not used for tracking. Specifically:

On-device storage: records are stored as files on your iPhone or iPad, written atomically to prevent corruption;
iCloud sync (optional): when several of your devices share one Apple ID, data syncs between your devices through Apple's private CloudKit database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple's infrastructure;
Family sharing (optional): when you explicitly invite family members, records are shared through Apple's CloudKit Sharing (CKShare) from your iCloud private database. The scope, members and revocation of sharing are entirely under your control in the system UI.

Core recording features work fully without an iCloud sign-in. We (the developer) run no servers of our own and cannot access, read or restore any data on your devices or in your iCloud account.

4. Notifications

Feeding reminders use iOS local notifications: schedules and content are computed and fired on your device, with no remote push server involved. You can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings or in the app, including quiet hours.

5. Export and deletion

Export and backup: export records as CSV/PDF, or create a restorable encrypted .weibanbackup file, and handle it via the system share sheet;
Delete: "Profile → Data & Privacy → Erase All Data" first leaves or stops Family Sharing, then removes on-device data. If personal iCloud sync is enabled, the empty state also syncs to your other devices. Deleting the app removes local data only;
Revoke sharing: remove members or stop sharing at any time; the shared data then disappears from the other side's devices.

6. Children's privacy

The app is used by parents to log their baby's care. We collect no personal information from children in any form, and the app contains no child-directed social features, ads or purchases.

7. This website

The Weiban website is a purely static site: no cookies, third-party fonts, analytics or tracking scripts, and no active visitor logging. The hosting provider may retain essential server access logs for security and reliability under its own policy.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we will also notify you appropriately within the app.
